Acoustic Armageddon explores the depth of the acoustic guitar from three distinctive and yet coherent approaches of the instrument.
Roro Perrot's shit folk is back to his basic guitar and voice improvisation only enhanced by a harmonica, and manages to bring blues primitivism and freedom into a new dimension.
Within 4 etudes (or soloworks), Rotkappchen tries to expand the instrumental limitations of the acoustic guitar and to make every sound feels like a moment of high drama, by matching sounds in the moment. Superror's approach is complex and definitely composed, using melodies, field recordings and noises to create a total potlatch of acoustic explorations.
